Data & ML Platform Engineer
I studied Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Toronto and began my career at Muse, a consumer EEG wearable company. As a biosignal engineer on the research team, I developed real-time signal-processing algorithms and brought them to iOS and Android in C++.
Slow access to data kept holding up research, so I moved to the cloud team to help remove that bottleneck. As a backend engineer, my responsibilities grew to include the authentication, subscription, and purchase services behind our apps.
Bringing together my experience in research and backend engineering, I led the development of Muse’s data platform. As a senior data engineer, I build the pipelines that turn sensor recordings into datasets for researchers and clinical partners, and help bring research models into production.
